About a month ago, I received a text from Brett saying that he would be proposing to Bryana within a couple of weeks. Almost since they started dating, Bryana has always told me how important it was to her that this particular moment is one she wanted documented so they could relive it forever. Brett and I planned for a few days with the struggle being that its wintertime in Northern Michigan... when it's hard to conceal footprints and discretely hide a person to photograph something like this. We landed on the idea of Hungarian Falls, a place that's always inspired Bryana deeply.
With it being a busy weekend at Michigan Tech, the trails were well packed, yet even if there were people out there, there's plenty of breathtaking spots we could've used to avoid photo-bombers. I borrowed another friend's car so Bryana wouldn't recognize I was there, and hid atop the taller falls behind a sizable white pine. While up there, only a couple other people ever walked by despite the rare, sunny winter morning. Then, the magic unfolded.
Congrats, Brett + Bryana!!! I love you both + can't wait to celebrate your wedding with you this fall!!!
