Today I had a planned to solely work on tomorrow's blog post, but I felt like sharing some warm images might help others ignore the blustery weather and balmy 25 degrees if you're also cooped up in Northern Michigan like me!
Here's a collection of frames from Erika's summer senior session. Erika's yet another senior I've known for quite a while though figure skating and church. Her blue eyes, coppery hair, and freckles are absolutely a photographer's dream! We began her session at her grandparents' barn just down the street from their house outside of L'Anse.
Erika also loves and plays softball, so stopping at the Aura ball field was a no brainer!
As the light grew dreamier, we swung down to Second Sand Beach in Pequaming to bask in red pine and Lake Superior grandeur.
In the fading final rays of daylight, we saved Erika's minty dress for fields and flowers outside of Baraga. Although the light dimmed quickly at our final destination on the opposite side of the bay, we were able to squeeze another final destination in on our way back into L'Anse where the evening light still clung on for a few more minutes... perks to living on the better side of the bay, right? ;)
Cheers to your senior year, Erika!
